A little too much Tequila and a little too much fun.
Since Cinco de mayo is nothing more than an overblown marketing scheme, why not drop tequila for a far more exotic beverage: Pisco, the basis for the Pisco Sour and my personal favorite, the Chilcano?
These days I imagine there are various dialects of Spanglish spoken at gatherings of far-flung families.
At one point I really liked a girl and wanted to be with her, but then she called it “Cinco de drink-o” and I’m glad it didn’t work out
