So you’re screwed … in all the variations of the term’s meanings.

And now that she’s no longer a fetus, no person of power in Texas will give a rat’s @$$ about her welfare.

We won’t even go to visit relatives there anymore. And that’s saying something since we still visit the Florida relatives.

Now they can let you die, somehow that is pro life to them. Some judge said so.

Maybe you will get lucky and be deported to Chicago.

I used to live in NM but had to return to Texas to care for an elderly parent. Been hating it ever since.

I have family in Texas. Let us say we disagree on their governor’s grandstanding (and expensive) policies.

Even many pro-life feminists (yes, there are more than you think) are disgusted with the current Texas bounty-hunter, intrusive, oppressive, and cruel administration. Take the recent Cox case, in which parents of a trisomy-18 baby who was 95% likely to die before birth were denied a safe abortion. This married couple have two children already and want more, but going through a repeat C-section would end any future ability to carry a child to term.

Readers may not know that the current Texas government has also made DEI offices and practices illegal. So much for the local governments, universities, schools, etc., who want to continue some form of it. Guess the mantra of “small, local government” no longer receives even lip service.
