Hey one man’s “pillow fluffing” is another man’s “copping a cheap feel.”

My wife’s an LPN (Low-Paid Nurse), but she’s a bit more gentle than this. In fact, Shelagh’s a terrific nurse. I found this out 26 years when she was my mom’s nurse. She did such a good job that I married her.

Still, don’t mess with Shelagh. She has sharp needles and she knows how to use them!

No self-respecting nurse would wear shoes like that–a real nurse would have very sore feet with those shoes! Nurses are lucky if they even get to sit down during their shift. But, I sure like how she is tossing him!

Nurses have to stand?I guess no body else does. Oh wait, do they call it work or sleep? Maybe I should wear a tie.

It looks like Supergirl forgot to stow her cape … and forgot to maintain her secret identity.

I have a now-retired relative who was a nurse for decades, and yes, nurses were expected to wear stockings and heels while they were on their feet for 12 hours a day. This didn’t start to change until the ’80s.

My wife is a nurse and with her type of nursing she can wear her street clothes. I keep waiting for her to do to me what is happening in the cartoon. I like fluffing her pillows and removing her sheets.

She must be LVN Woman (Living Vicariously Nurse). The super hero through which mundane nurses think of wistfully while smiling with clenched teeth during the thousandth repetition of a variation on a sponge bath joke from every Letcher in the building.

No, I am not a nurse, but a family chock-full of them has informed me well as to the occupational hazards.

John I often wonder if patients get so routine things get mixed up and if nurses feel like throwing Dr.’s like that too out of frustration. Where I go for charts it’s electronic the medical staff don’t cary medical records around it’ on computer laptops.

If I could fluff my own pillows I wouldn’t leave the house!
