I love the Mickey Mouse cap! When my parents were married in the early 1940’s their Maid of Honor [my Mom’s sister] had a similar hat on and we kids always joked how much it looked like a Mickey Mouse cap!

Careful with the Cap, John, they used to sue for things like that. (Shouldn’t it be a Davy Crockett coon-skin with the obvious tail?)

I know a lot of readers didn’t realize that the bridal-hospital scene was a dream.
(And I wasn’t going to give it away in my comments here. I was having fun seeing people’s reactions.)
But if you go back to the May 20th episode and read the caption, it’s pretty clear.
John, it was clear, I think everyone is just going with the flow. Love this strip by the way.
