Either that nurse was exaggerating, or the hospital is colder than Siberia. Corpses only reach room temperature, and not instantly. I had to explain that fact to my blonde sister when our mom died. She told me that she thought Mom was dead, but her body wasn’t cold. I had to tell her that it takes a little while to reach room temperature. (Mom was under hospice care, so her death was expected.)
When we lost our dad and he knew he was going home to. When his day was up I felt his fingers and they ice cold and the hospital had pumps going on this feet he passed on at 2am. That was 12 years ago.
Long before my husband retired there was a worker there and the lady depicted on LK reminds me of her. The worker though is young close to the lady’s age. He was working overtime at our local air craft company and she was spending like crazy put him in bankruptcy. Short end he got smart ended, had to sell to sets of wedding rings through bankruptcy judge’s order my husband bought them at a low price but enough to cover bankruptcy expense. The rings are both elegant especially the one I have.
