In regard to the cancer reference…well, I’m sorry that offends you. I can see that it might strike too close to home for some people. Yes, cancer is a very serious subject. Frankly, my mom’s currently dying from cancer. These last few months, I’ve been spending 30-50 hours (or more) most weeks taking care of her. So, believe me, I know it’s serious. But sometimes the grimmer something is, the more you need to find a little humor in it.
It’s way cool that Time Rider’s “time machine” is a 60s-era front-engine dragster. His driver’s suit is also 60s-era. (So… did Time Rider start out in the 60s?) Love it!
I have been thru 2 bouts of different cancer. The second one (prostate) was the easy one. All men should get their prostate checked periodiclly. The first one nearly got me. I’m happy to be alive although the aftermath has been bad. Chronic, severe pain of various types is no joke. Being able to walk is great. But slowly over the next years it will get more difficult until I will be in a wheel chair. But I’m happy to be here. Keep the faith, John! All my support for you and your mother.
Cancer is a B*tch but beating it is so much better. I enjoy humor and laughter and having fun. I enjoy every day that I’m able to get up and walk out of the house. Smile, enjoy the day, and don’t let anyone or thing get you down. Life is too short to suffer the idiots, poor sports and bigots of this world. They want to drag you down to their level. Nope, not going to play that game.Don’t sweat the small stuff! And it’s ALL Small Stuff!
