The Bees have hives,
they’ll comb later.
Only the queen bee is able to mate and reproduce and she mates only once with a drone. All the worker bees are haploid females with1/2 the chromosomes and are sterile.

It’s a cute thought, but I found the birds and bees distracting when I was in the middle of my “research”.
Looks like this is going to be not two bees.
