You can see a re-cast of the original by visiting Saint-Gaudens’ studio in New Hampshire, it’s a beautiful, peaceful place. It’s said to be the smallest national park in the NPS system. Try Google images “augustus saint gaudens museum” and you’ll see a slew of his works that are at the studio. If you ever visit, take note…right across the Conn. River is the Harpoon Brewery.
They are re runs, but at Apes and Babes (Cho’s website),, he has been running Liberty Meadows there too including some of the less censored ones. However we’ve had nothing new since the first of January.

What a beautiful piece of art. That of a skilled artist. Now do one where the subject is not so perfect and depicts real life.

No joke is right, a very serious subject…that’s Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ “The Mystery of the Hereafter…beyond pain and beyond joy”.

Looks like Cho was channeling Charles Gibson.
