I hear that dial up modems are still a necessity for parts of the second world. Like Montana.

Frank needs to separate phone lines. One for the internet and one for calling people.

This joke hasn’t aged well.

I used to have two lines back in the day. I also still have a dial-up account with one of the few remaining free services (at least as of last year). I used it when the internet was out.

I routinely had the reverse experience in dial up days; I’d be online, and my kids would grab a phone handset without checking, and break my connection. Then I’d yell at them to stop trying to make calls while I was online.
