Hey you classic comic fans – suppose there is anyway we can get gocomics to run the old Pogo strips? I am interested in seeing that work out from the beginning, heard interesting things about its use of social and political satire. Any idea where it might be shown again (I suppose I could buy the books somewhere but the once a day format is what these were meant for, it would be really cool if they included the topics of the day that are showing up on the comic pages)
In the meantime, there’s a fan site where a Thomas Haller Buchanan lovingly scans collected strips and does his best to color-correct and remove bleedthrough from the comics printed on the back of the page. All this and a true appreciation of the art of Walt Kelly.
