Yesterday we were at the same place as on December 17th of last year. On December 18th it started back at the beginning with the introduction of Li’l Abner and the start of the New York City story arc. This particular panel was last seen on March 12th. It’s one thing to read the same strips over and over every 11 months or so, but now apparently GoComics has cut out a few more months?
I keep saying I am done and gone, for the same reason. I keep hoping that someone who controls the Lil Abner library will release new stories and actually complete story arcs. But alas, this time, it is good bye Dogpatch for good.
I love the Lil Abner stories, but not over and over and over and over and over again! What’s the point of hording all the other strips? Is the cartoon syndicate or Al Capp’s heirs thinking that there is going to be a great Lil Abner revival, so they’re saving it all for the big cash-in? For the film or Broadway play (oops—already done)???

What jump did the editor make? Yesterday we were worrying about Salimey and today we are regreeting aunt Bessie and her amorious adventures?
