The sad realities of life, Lio.

Dad’s a lefty, just like me. Dad is worrying over bills, just…you know.

Poor Dad!

Pfft….I see this every Friday when I get paid so I never get to enjoy it. I think they need a dollar petting zoo so I know what money feels like.

It almost looks like Lio is coming up with a plan to help Dad out.

Dad, I feel your pain.

If money talks, all mine ever says is, “good-bye.”

Ya know, Wile E Coyote was never seen having to struggle to pay the bills sent by Acme. Why is it Mad scientists and other gadget centered geniuses never have to deal with Bill Collectors. Maybe this will be Lio’s next lesson - how to conjure the funds to pay for his projects.

Hmm… Maybe Dad can get some jobs as a food tester, electricity tester, plumbing tester, cable TV tester, et cetera.

Better yet, maybe he can just get one job as a money tester; every week he’s given a big bag of money so he can test its spendability, and he gets paid for it. That’s the job I’d like to have. 8)

Few wish to voice it, but sometimes it gets to you when you see how those of Lio’s age group just selfishly get their folks to spend money they don’t have on toys, computer games and other indulgences for them. No problem for the kids of course. They aren’t the ones stuck worry about how to pay the bills for them. Benevolence should only go so far.

But this is Leo – can you imagine him coming up with “a way to help dad” that doesn’t involve giving dad a nervous breakdown?

I wonder if Lio’s dad even noticed that his money is flying away
