Reminds me of the old-time radio series that ran every pre-Christmas season, The Cinnamon Bear, which included the Scissors Soldiers. Or the ancient Greek myth of the Hydra of Lerna…. Or of people I’ve known whose tongues extrude in moments of stress (physical or mental)….
Reminds ME of the things that hang from ceilings in Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. Lio needs a little Din’s Fire here. (See all the really useful knowledge you can pick up from having kids?)
Today’s strip is very clever. I liked it a lot especially the way Mark Tatulli drew the ghost, although I thought, and hoped, he’d stick with the money theme for a little longer
Holy crap, Sisyphos—you’re the only one I have ever met who listened to that! When I was in middle school, one of the radio stations had a show called “when radio was” that played all the old ones. I loved it! I listened to Cinnamon Bear each night before bed that December. : D
