If anyone has ever read the “Frannie K. Stein” comics, I believe she and Lio would be best friends. They certainly could become mad scientist partners. This ladybug looks like it could come from her lab.
DOC TOON Now you really got me confused. I understand (I Think) how your glowing grounds can be mixed with compost and used to ENRICH the soil. A plant would then take this through its phloem or xylem (Hey , it’s been 50 years since botany class) and irradiate the DNA, producing different offspring
Like I said, I pretend to understand that. However, how does a mature ladybug get changed. For one thing she has to fly away as her house is on fire and her children will burn. Aside from that, how does her cell structure change after maturity? Is NUCEAR COFFEE that powerful and if so, why am I drinking it? Inquiring minds—–

Lio must have heard about Sir Walter Raleigh in history class.
I’ve never before seen such a big ladybug; must be something in the water in Lio’s area….

I like how calm Lio looks in the company of monsters and enormous insects. Man, would I love to live in his world!

I believe that’s the ladybug from the Family Guy episode “Ready, Willing, and Disabled.”

“Lady bug, lady bug, fly away home…” Unless you can step on Lio’s jacket on the way…
