Darn! It wasn’t supposed to hatch this soon, according to the warranty.

Mmm, just noticed the banner at the top says; “There is corpses everywhere”. Shouldn’t it be; “There ARE corpses…”?

As Lio’s dad well knows, little monsters are hard to train.

@Valis616 it’s a colloquial-ized usage ;-) If only that was the worst example. Ever listen to sports talk hosts/callers? podcasts? Patients are running the asylum. AND they are illiterates.

    ^^I believe it’s a take-off of Bill Watterson’s “There’s treasure everywhere” Joke doesn’t work if grammatically correct

Timing is everything … and monsters aren’t the best time keepers.

Valis616 - yup, the others are right; that title is a direct tip of the hat to “There’s Treasure Everywhere” - even down to the cover design.

If you ever get a chance, check out Calvin & Hobbes. Very good strip. (Also look at Bloom County and Boondocks, while you’re at it.)

BTW, is your login name a reference to the book by Philip K. Dick? If so, cool!

And as for the comic … Lio should’ve put the tag on the inside.

I hope this wasn’t for Dad. He deserves a relaxing Christmas after the stressful Thanksgiving he had.

@Night-Gaunt49, banner (advertisement) is above the strip. “There’s” is often used in spoken language with plurals (“There’s lots of good stuff…,” “There’s tons of garbage in the street….”), at least in American English, so “There’s Corpses Everywhere” doesn’t sound very strange.
