Bucky looks scarier here than he does at home.

No Tom, Mr Jinx, TC et el, Sylvester, 10 cats, Kliban cats….the list goes on.

Looks like a zombie apocalypse – cat style. Also… for the record… Garfield would snub that.

C’mon! Garfield would never settle for canned food.

Ack! Phfft! The music of the tuna can attracts all cats. Whether they actually then eat it depends on how finicky they are (e.g., Garfield). Meanwhile, for Lio’s sake, I hope Tatulli drew really strong borders for the strip; they seem to be breaking down already!

Anyone remember Fraidy Kat from a Saturday Morning flop called Uncle Croc’s Block.?

Solange from 9 Chickweed Lane is missing….she is my favorite cat cartoon.

Garfield needs to call the cat who lives next door to Snoopy. He/she can cut a Christmas tree into a doghouse in seconds, and would get through that panel wall in no time.

Wow, Bill isn’t even in a running comic anymore. I guess the “Bloom County” reruns at GoComics are close enough to attract him.

Then there was King Kat, the star of a short-lived Brtish comic strip. The only other comic-strip feline who could match Cybil for nastiness

I thought Garfield was more of a lasagna cat.

This explains why my cat just decided to jump on my lap.

@pcolli, the cat was Felix. He started out as a character in animated cartoons during the silent era, didn’t last long in the sound era though. A newspaper strip was also based on him around then. The “bag of tricks” didn’t come around till the character was revived for a low-budget series of TV cartoons in the late 50s-early 60s.
