Lio, NFTs aren’t supposed to be real things. That’s the whole point of the NF part. They’re just an invention someone made to sucker rich people into buying nothing. At least a bunch of artists are getting rich off of it plus some of the people that have lived with being a meme.
You know, this got me thinking… this site could maybe help artists financially by making it possible for them to sell NFTs of their strips directly to the public, possibly via some type of auction process, and take a small cut for themselves. Kind of moving past the dependence on the dying newspaper industry while capitalizing on their huge existing base of content.
