Who is Lio real mom

All I can think about is the old Christmas strip (from 2009) where Lio brings flowers to his mom’s grave. Hope Tatulli follows up on that someday and maybe explains how she died.

Anyone else ever read the actual book? Not at all like any of the movies.

“Mother,” okay, I would say more horror than sci-fi, but then a lot of sci-fi is more horror than science. Jules Verne was the father of modern hard, science-y science fiction.

The imagination of both Shelly and Lio is extraordinary.

I bought two excellent (imho) books for a granddaughter, “Frankenstein: The Graphic Novel” & “Mary’s Monster: Love, Madness, and How Mary Shelley Created Frankenstein”. I enjoyed them too!

Frankenstein has outlasted all the other gothic horror stories of it’s time.

Interesting that the grave looks freshly dug!
