Mothers Day was in May. This month is Fathers Day. What gives?

Mom’s birthday?

Wish we knew the backstory about Lio’s mom. Been following the strip for years, and she’s VERY rarely mentioned. What happened to her? Did she walk into Lio’s bedroom at exactly the wrong moment? Dunno.

Lio is not all mischief.

I wonder if this comic isn’t more about Mark than Lio.

Sad and sweet.

Mom’s ashes are in a box in Dad’s closet. They both want to be thrown off a bridge into the river. I respect that’s what they want, but part of me still would like a gravesite to visit. However, the body isn’t the person, and I can be with Mom anytime by just thinking of her.

Oh, poor Lio…I didn’t know.

Sad but how did it happen……
