Mai: “You know that commercial in America where people put bottles of mouthwash in your locker and backpack?”Karl: “No.”Mai: “So, those cases of Ban roll-on I’ve been giving you haven’t been sending the right message?”
Japanese food, on the whole, doesn’t contribute to an “odor problem”. The exception is garlic, which is usually added to fried beef for “stamina meals” (which is why many steak restaurants are located right next to love hotels). Having said that, the Japanese general public has a dental hygiene problem, and most people I’ve encountered here have bad breath.
