Are those the ones that are decimating our western pne forests?
A little Googling shows this beetle is a major tree-killer, especially in Colorado, altho it lives over much of North America.
But from the way the grizzly is running, you’d think it was the “grizzly-guts-eating beetle”.
Almost as vicious as the Rocky Mountain Fever Tick !
poor grizzly, didn’t he eat some pine cones a while back?? might have been some of those beetles in them
Not sure what’s going on, hopefully will find out tomorrow!
