I’ve never seen tortoise move so quickly. I love the look of fear on Little Dog in panel 4.

Tortoises/turtles can move quickley when they want. We had one in our back yard years ago and had to run like h— to catch it. Found out it was a mud turtle from the creek about a mile away. They also hiss :-D
I guess with all that armour, there is no need to move quickly.
Tortoise sure gave LGL the scare of his life!
You better find a better hiding place next time!
