Don’t know about grapes, but there are some plants that depend on birds to um distribute their seeds.
The ants will eat them just fine.
Actually, it is the goal of fruit to be eaten so as to spread the seeds. (As far as an object can have goals, that is.)
I’m guessing it’s a grape’s ultimate goal to be made into a fine wine. Sorry to say, that’s one way that I will not consume grapes. Not a fan of wine, with the exception of an occasional sangria.

Then there’s that cereal commercial where the cereal pieces eat each other. Who on earth thought cannibalism was a great selling image??
