Our local bald eagle family had kitty for dinner a few years ago, caught on live camera:

Note: most likely from a nearby feral colony, and almost certainly dead (roadkilled) before the eagle picked it up. If the eagles hadn’t consumed it, there are plenty of turkey vultures in the neighborhood who would have benefited from that protein as well.
