Yes, you have to remember to charge it. 100 miles in 3 hours at a slow rate of 35amperes here. Less than $5 here, I think (17cents/kilo-watt-hour) Super charge from 0% to 80% in 20 minutes at home, if possible, would bring down the neighborhood grid!
Blue Oval logo up front , Ford. Living in AZ I kept my California attitude about emergencies, extra drinking water – if given a warning fill the tub; canned goods, propane stove – if you have a gas BBQ that’s good but sometimes you will need to cook your food – I’m Filipino and I have to have rice; I keep the gas tank between 1/4 and 1/2 full at a minimum all the time; TP and good luck with that.

Things that will help you survive a disaster:
A gas car
A gas stove
A gas hot water heater
A gas chainsaw
Cash
Things that useless during a disaster:
Electric cars
Electric appliances
Debit cards
The government
There are others but you get the idea.

Bought a Toyota Venza hybrid, gas bill dropped from 150 a month to 50 a month. Still making the same commute and the hybrid is so quiet.
