Lola: Hows school, Monty?
Monty: we're studying ancient egypt.
Did you know it could take 30 years to build a pyramid?
wow.
Lola: And I get mad 'cause my hot pocket takes two minutes.
It takes that long to build things now – NYC is suppose to open a new subway line December 1 – it started being planned in 1915! Large buildings still can take decades to build.
Nothing cooks in my kitchen in “65 seconds”. No “nuking” here. Stew for dinner last night took 3 evenings to cook – boil chicken one night, start the vegetables next night and add chicken, then finish cooking before heating. (4 hours plus of actual cooking time – gone in 20 minute
