My neighbours seem to love using noisy machinery in the early morning hours.

Have they no decency?

In Iceland, it’s illegal to make noise in a residential neighborhood before 8 AM or after 10 PM.

serves you right jerkwod. blow em into the leaf pile all tide up so some other worker can accidently stuff him in a bag.

I our little town, quiet hours are from 10pm until 7am. At 7:01am I am outside trimming, edging, and mowing the lawn. Well, what is left of it since we are in a drought.

I think a leaf blower is one of the worst sounds in the world.

Even worse are the idiots that blow the leafs into the street.

When I moved into this neighborhood many years ago, the jerks on the next street raked the leaves into the middle of the pavement and BURNED them. I think the highway superintendent put an end to that.

looked out the window the other day and saw a neighbor busily scrubbing his car at 5:45 a.m. since he’d obviously been at it for a while, i thought, man, that guy must have an absolutely hectic schedule today if he’s washing his car at the crack of dawn…

either that, or he was just bored out of his mind already…
