Reminds me why I always took lunch.
Our cafeteria was soooo bad. They did have a good mac ‘n cheese, though.
I used to eat the school lunch when my Grandson was in first grade on the days that they had bar-b-que sandwiches. Good sandwiches, soggy tater tots.
Sammy, Friday is take your own lunch day.
I fondly recall in elementary school the peanut and vanilla ice cream sandwich. It was a hamburger roll with ample peanut butter. A brick of ice cream only a nickel more. Heart broken when I didn’t find it on the menu at junior high.
