After Hurricane Katrina in 2005 the Hustler store in New Orleans had to close. Larry Flynt continued to pay the employees their wages as if it were still open until it did reopen. I doubt Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates or Howard Schultz (Starbucks) or Tim Cook would do that.
