Actually, Magellan never made it around the world. He was killed in the Phillpines. Juan Sebastian del Cano completed the voyage, but he never gets the credit.
I didn’t get it either. I get it now, however, even after it is explained it’s still hard to see by looking at the cartoon which direction the person was going. I think it might have worked better to actually have doen this cartoon is multiple panels to see how it unfolds. How do we know from looking at this catoon that the person didn’t come from the right, get the mail, go in the house and come back outside?

OK, I’m having trouble with this one… Magellan sailed around the world. What does that have to do with mail?
