Hopefully it’s not genetically modified, Roundup Ready alfalfa. Of course, it’s only a matter of time before cross-pollination via airborne and other means causes all alfalfa crops to have the Roundup Ready gene, allowing Monsanto to sue for patent infringement and force all alfalfa farmers to pay for their seed whether they want it or not. Nice age we live in.
