Clark, it doesn’t have to cost money. There are free or nearly free programs to convert a small sound file into a ringtone format.

She’s going to have a ring tone when he clocks her out.

Clark - I was in Pro Audio for a while. Yeah, he’s gonna dent the windscreen and probably mess up the diaphragm of that microphone when his head shoots up and bashes it. Better to use a choir or shotgun mic from 6+ feet away after deadening the room a little (unless you like that ‘living room’ reverb).

Right Turn - that was my thought exactly! She’ll never get to convert the playback to ringtone because she’s gonna get slaughtered as soon as he recovers. As kids, sometimes we’d pretend to threaten our dad with something (like squirting him with a squirt gun inside the house or some such). He wouldn’t even skip a beat or indicate that he noticed us but would just state, as if for posterity, “…You’d only do it once…”.

We never did.

I think she wants him to hit his head, to make the screaming and ranting even better.
