Fifteen comments and no one mentioned that you cannot abort a landing like that— the landing engine does not have the fuel, you must land and then the upper return pod uses its own engine to return to the orbiting capsule.

The signs are an illusion projected by the Moon People, who obviously don’t want us visiting them.

You can land there on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after 6:30pm for 31/2 hours. :-) problem solved.
