I can read the DMV eye chart fine with my left eye without glasses but can’t read it with or without glasses with my right eye. So the DMV gives me a license requiring corrective lenses. WTH?

Now for the hearing test….

But is he an Optimist Optometrist?

I found it difficult to even listen to his first line.

The DMV gave me about 3 chances to get it right, so I guess I have pretty decent vision. I know for sure about 40 years ago my vision was 20/30 in one eye and 20/40 in the other. Of course things may have changed since then. I renew my license next year, so will have to wait and see what happens.

i’ve tried studying for my eye exams, but the subject matter is just so dull…

It just occurred to me I now know why my hearing aid representative whispers when talking to me.

He charts everything he says…so others can see better….

Zooming in on the screen, it’s impressive how far down this still ran a rambling monologue before being lost in pixelation.

We had a retired optometrist living upstairs from us. His name was Seymore.

How many optometrists does it take to change a light bulb? One or two?

Interesting how everyone in the cartoon (whose face we can see) is wearing glasses.
