So you’ll give it five stars then.

It was a boar.

Top of the line slop! My compliments to the chef!

He’s a trough critic.

The pearls are a nice touch.

Just like Farmer used to make.

Three. Slop is what he ordered. Slop is what he got. But it really wasn’t anything special. You would have heard him squealing if it was a five.

Well let’s not be piggish about it!

It couldn’t have been much of a meal. They have really tiny mouths.

Yeah, it happens every sow often.

I’ll need more food so I can pig out before I can give you a review.

Good, I’ll tell the chef! Desserts on us ‼️

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

When I was living at home, my good-hearted parents took in foster children. We temporarily fostered a little girl and one day only she and my brother and I were left at the lunch table as Mom cleaned up in the kitchen. She asked my brother for the name of the dish we had just been served. He told her “Slop.” The unsuspecting little girl then shouted to my mother in the kitchen: “Momma – this slop tastes good!”

The lingering notes of the scrapings from the holiday feasts… truly a favorite and unique Chef’s Surprise.

That new restaurant called The Trough just got five stars on Yelp.

Coming from a Swine that’s high praise.

I will always remember when I fed the hogs their slop!

They also do takeout where you can get a slop bucket to go.
