It would be horrible enough if it were correctly spelled. The fashion for “creative grooming” (clipping and spot-dyeing dogs with natural dyes to create “scenes”) is a new form of cruelty if you ask me. The dogs know they look ridiculous.
Let alone the fashion for dyeing poodles and other small white dogs pink, blue, green etc. Blech.
I just read the sidebar blurb. In case anyone’s interested, Joe isn’t wearing a beret. Berets don’t have bills, and that cap (a flat cap or Sandown cap) has one.
I’m reminded of a story of a sheep herder who had an orphaned lamb. It was small and sickly and required more care than he could give. He came across some blue dye, dyed it and sold it to some tourist as a novelty. Then he hit upon the idea of getting more dye and selling colored sheep to tourists to make money. Soon he was known as the biggest lamb dyer in the county.
