I donate things and money to several different charities but NEVER Goodwill. Because they are not a charity but a business and their CEO makes a ton of money. I would rather donate to the Red Cross, Purple Heart, Salvation Army, etc.
There are several thrift stores nearby here, including Deseret Industries, Goodwill, Salvation Army and several independents. Mostly I donate to SA because they literally saved my son’s life.
