“A frightening look at the future”*RB – I think he meant this to be hopeful, but the whole scenario seems sad. Like the kids are going to just relive the lives of their parents. Nice, but where’s the progress?

I believe my husband was the only one who suggested Elwood! Haha. Greg, now I’d love to see what Delta and Bernice are doing at 43. Could we do that, too?

By the way, what does Quill do for a living now? Is he a drama teacher, or the director of their local community theater?

So Luann is going to change as a married woman after 30 years as a teenager?

They are a cute and realistic family. And the early teen years are much kinder to Luann’s daughter than they were to her!

is more likely that the girl would be named after one of her best friends, and would be Bernice and the son would be named after Frank if we go realistically unlike Elwood scenario where they were named after Star trek actors, if they had gone “Star wars” they would have been Mark, Harrison, Alec and Anthony(C3PO)

When these two get married, just change the name of the strip to “Dullsville”. This boring couple will make us remember the Sunday Frank and Nancy strips as “the good old days”.

Personally, I think she and Gunther should finally get together.

Oh noes Quill can’t have a receding hairline! Just kidding. Since all the readers are in advanced middle age it’s no big deal.

I don’t know how I missed this poll. My vote would have had Luann getting an academy award as set designer for the movie where Quill was getting his second Academy award for best actor. She would HAVE to have at least two kids because if you only have one, you always know who made the mess. And dragging the Luann crew into tinsel town gives everyone some new troubles to find.

Damn, Quill is still a hot man even at 43! But he still can’t tuck in his shirt tails.

Awwww – Luann didn’t meet Quill until 25 years into the strip – Luann would have been 38 when they met. The kids would have to be from previous relationships.

Greg should also do Gunther, Rosa, Crystal and Knute. maybe even brad, Toni and shannon, even tiffany.

I will be 90 then, and I hope to be around long enough to see it. I think this strip should progress in actual time now like Gasoline Alley does.

Married, middle-aged, a teacher, two kids, a dog, living in suburban home…hardly a frightening future, I’d say.

But of course, not set in stone. Let’s see how the next 30 years come to pass.
