Luann: Can I have a different grade? Mr. Fogarty: Sure. Let's make it an "A". Luann: Mr. Fogarty, may I talk to you about this "D" I got on my test? Mr. Fogarty: Certainly, Luann. Luann: The thing is, I knew all these answers last night. my dad quizzed me and I got 100%! Luann: But by the time I got here-16 hours later- I forgot half the answers. Luann: And to be honest, if you test me next week, I won't know any of the answers! Luann: And by this time next year, I'll have forgotten the whole test!!! Luann: And when I'm 45, I won't even remember this class! Mr. Fogarty: What's the point, Luann? Luann: Well, that's what I'm wondering....
