Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for May 15, 1997
Transcript:
Bernice tries to explain, "I don't want to go to war over Gunther. I like him, he likes me. But we're not an item, Luann. Frankly, I'm not ready for that." Luann, annoyed, says, "Uh-huh. Right." Bernice continues, "But you know what? If you'd treat Gunther with some respect and kindness, he's follow you like a puppy." Luann, still annoyed, says, "Is that what you did?" Bernice storms off and says, "Fine. Forget it. I can't talk to you." Luann shouts, "Of course not! I'm the best friend you stole from, remember?!"
Luann is acting really off at this point. She goes on blaming other people for her love problems yet she doesn’t take responsibility for her actions. Bernice is right about this, Luann needs to take some responsibility for her actions and not getting mad over a boy who she doesn’t care about.
