Bernice says to Luann, "What?! Tiffany and Aaron snuck into Mr. F's room and used his stamp on a new eggbaby?!" Luann replies, "Yes! And I caught them! Stamp in hand!" Bernice responds, "Oh my gaw? Wha'd they say?" Tiffany and Aaron walk by Luann. Tiffany says, "Well, Luann, it's your word against mine. And Aaron's" Someone else says, "Oh, Tiff sputtered some lame excuse. Then she got all huffay and said:" In response to Tiffany's comment, Bernice says to Luann, "Hm, good point. As if Mr. Fogarty would believe you." Luann answers, "Oh! Thanks so much!"

Were American teenagers ever really this straightlaced? Especially over an assignment this moronic? I can’t reconcile this with my high school years, which were admittedly a while ago.
