Luann begins filling out the application and says to Brad, "I can not believe I'm actually filling out a summer job application." Brad asks, "Why are you?" Luann, imagining having a new car says to Brad, "'Cuz I told Dad I'd go for the cashier job at the pool. I thought if he had to drive me back and forth, he'd buy me a car." Luann continues, "But he said he'd be happy to drive me. So now I gotta apply for the stinkin' job." Brad replies, "Proving, once again, that you are the stupidest person ever born."
