And when's the last time a guy gave you a $50 gift?" Delta says, "Didn't Gunther spend a bundle at the fair to win you that panda?" Bernice says ,"Why are you protecting Elwood's reputation, anyway?" Luann says, "I'm not. I'm protecting my ego."

What’s Bernice’s problem? Is she really jealous for the mini-Elvis? I mean, why is she so sure he is a bad guy? She just doesn’t want Lu to have a guy

Even if the ring is false and it only costs 49$, he still had to pay for the limo, the guy pretending be his bodyguard, the park, the dinner… And all those things aren’t precisley cheap.
