Luann, you never had him in the first place—you were afraid to start a relationship because he would eventually go back to Australia and you knew you would be hurt. So you have no claim on him now. Anyway, Tiff doesn’t really have him either.

if they want gossip, they currently hearing from “weekly world news”, not from “people”; as Lue right now is going wild with her fears and imagination

The kids know what is more interesting, Luann. And you’re it. Think of it as a form of tribute.

In frame 2, Luann actually looks distressed.

OK, I’ve changed my mind about petitioning Greg for a spin-off series for Brad and Toni, same for Crystal and, well just Crystal actually. Anyway, I want a strip for these kids.
Rockabore almost 13 years ago
These latest strips are unironically the most funny we’ve had in a long time. I love watching these kids make Luann squirm.

Quill, isn’t ready for a relationship, neither is Luann… but if they were, they would be together because they would take things slow.

HEY, Kids!
Let Me tell ya a little story:
Tiffany MET Quill FIRST.
Tiffany brought Quill by and introduced HER to Luann.
Quill spotting Luann realized SHE was MORE of an ENTICING Challenge than the VERY Easy Tiffany and QUICKLY shifted His attention to HER.
So THEREFORE, Luann STOLE Quill from Tiffany, or so She THINKS.
And do You know what the FUN part is, Kids?
(The Kids) “No, WHAT, Unca’ Mordock?”
As SOON as Mr. Oz-Ball is DONE with Luann, he’ll go after another CONQUEST, probably, Ms Rosa. You remember her, don’cha?
(The Kids) "Yes! She’s the HOT Spanish Girl that read “For Whom the Bell Tolls” to Us!"
Thats Her and She’s NEXT! And they ALL Lived Unhappily Ever After. So REMEMBER kids, NEVER Trust a Guy with UNBEARABLY Good Looks!
(The Kids) “We WON’T Unca Mordock!”
Okay kids. Who wants Ice Cream and COFFEE??
(The Kids) “Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!”

Why read about a fictional villain when you can hear about a real witch who is trying to steal a heart? Reminds me, Howl’s Moving Castle is on TV this week.

Art Imitating Life – Just as Justin Bieber attracts hordes of young girls at his concerts – and their adoration demands to know everything about him – so do the children want to know everything about their exciting reader, Luann.

Better watch out, kids — that black hat of hers proves that she works for The Anti-Claus.

Comment on comment: me? I took a lot of those chances when young, and I’m STILL wishing for more. Oh, and in between there were years of monotony and monogamy…I’m still working on growing up. Or whichever direction it is…

HEY…. didn’t we see this same exact scenario about a year ago when the kids interogated Luan regarding her “non”-girlfriend status with Gunther or Quill…. not sure which one, but I’m sure I’ve seen this same dialogue…. unless I’m psychic or sumpthin’……

Luann"s black hat matches her black mood.
marvee almost 13 years ago
These kids have already watched too many soap operas and hollywood gossip shows, while their mom thought it went over their heads.

The big thing is that Quill DOESN’T LIKE TIFFANY. Nothing to worry about. Quill wants a girl that is interesting not a blah blonde bimbo!!
slypuma almost 13 years ago
those kids are rough
Tim Pickard Premium Member almost 13 years ago
It’s amazing how the blonde girl that’s giving Luann the 3rd degree looks a lot like that pain in the butt Tiffany.

Isn’t it time for Aaron Hill to return for a week or so?

You realize, of course, that something is going to happen to the plane?
Spode almost 13 years ago
The little blonde girl’s blondness is the result of the colorizing of this cartoon. If her hair had been colored light brown like the little Gunther/Quill boy, we’ed be saying she looked like Bernice, because this girl is wearing glasses, and in the old days Bernice had straight hair. It is kind of fascinating though, how this group of children came out looking like mini- Crystal, Tiffany, Brad, (unknown, maybe Rosa), and Gunther/Quill. These kids are way cute, esp. girl with the spiky black hair.
