You know what’s funny/pathetic about Luann’s character then and now? She hasn’t matured or even changed one bit (Okay, on the outside, perhaps, but that’s about it).

I love it. The counsellor didn’t take the easy way out “but sweetheart you are SOOOOO beautyful …bla bla bla”.No: This is the way you look. Live with it. LOL

Miss Phelps is not being a wishy-washy, feel good counselor today, is she? But I have a feeling Luann will turn out all right nonetheless.

Back in those early days, the artwork was really basic! I had never seen the comic until the Minneapolis Star-Tribune began carrying it in 1995. The first story I remember was where Aaron Hill got dinged up in an accident because he was riding with a drunk driver. Quite a lot has transpired since then…

Next week, it wouldn’t be all that surprising if Luann gets a letter from Australia in which Quill tells her all about his new girlfriend.

So, Luann was in high school when she was a little girl? Or is she the same age and hallucinating about her past? I didn’t miss a panel, so what’s going on? Whatever it is, I don’t like it. Several of my comics this week and last have been reruns.
