whoa, this is great responsibility for a newbie to be the first to post on Luann. I don’t have an idea as to a name but I am sure Greg has something in mind, and all kinds of funny ideas will follow.

Yeah, TJ…keep on boldly giving them hints.…you can’t say you didn’t ‘warn’ them….. – He might as well go with a “Humphrey Bogart” inspired one: “Cash A Blank One….And Run”…

Also reminds me of Billy Crystal’s famous skit, “Fernando’s Hideaway” on SNL…. (Fernando: “It’s better to look good…than to feel good!….”)

Everybody else has made their contribution. I say we let Tiffany decide on a name. (Anybody who can come up with “Sheraton St Louis”….)

How about “The Pitts Stop”?

3Plain: The TJ – DeGroot PlayhouseAvante Garde: The “Route” Cellar “Trendy”: “Who the Hell Knows”Playful: Pitt & Balcony TheaterHmm. Not much more to add today. I like that Nancy seems very enthused. I like having TJ around. Quill still seems like “Bland Quill” to me. Frank seems to be realizing more the potential costs/risks of this venture, even with the “freebies” of the lighting equipment. In some ways, today’s comic seems more of a Wednesday, middle of the week post than yesterday’s did. Usually by Thursday, it seems that there is more ‘direction’ in terms of some sort of suspenseful ending for the Saturday comic. Not sure what the idea is here for this one.

What? Where? ;-)

No one loves ’TJ’s Hideway’, unless it means TJ is going into hiding somewhere, to avoid a sudden investigation by the Fire Marshall of that infamous explosion.
How about ‘The Old Inedible’? Or, ‘Exit, Stage Fright’, or ‘Malfunction Junction’, or ‘The Pitt and the Pendulum’?
There’s always ‘The WHEREhouse’
and ’Malice’s Restaurant’ or ‘The Flying FoodTruck’, or ‘The Plays the Thing’…

How about “The Where House”, as in “Where it’s happening” or “Where you should be”?

Is it my imagination or has Frank FINALLY begun to see his money pit for what it is…a money pit?

How about:
TJ Degroot’s
ACTIVIST1234 over 9 years ago
How about waiting until the place is remodeled and the bookings start appearing— so they all know what it will be used for and what the atmosphere will be. If market research says TJ will sell Bikini Weenies and the art space will feature 2nd grade masterpieces, their proposed names will not be apt.

“Costa Lotsa”? Is Frank actually learning Spanish?
