Don’t flake out now, Older Brother!

Guess you could clean her room in 150 minutes if you had a dumpster right outside the window.

Ugh. Luann took advantage of the gift her brother didn’t intend it to be for. He should have clarified it with “150 minutes together at Harkins in theater #8 on Jan 1st from 4 PM to 6:30 PM”. Now he can’t get out of helping Luann clean her room because of the language in his giftcard. Lesson learned, Brad. Never underestimate your sister.

Didn’t Luann give Brad a gift of a fun time together – or vice versa – a few years ago? I think they spent the time at something like a “penny” arcade…

Since Brad specified “fun time”, that excludes room cleaning.

The question is, can that dump be cleaned in 150 minutes? A small Kubota tractor with a dozer blade on front might help.

Okay, even I gotta admit that that’s pretty hilarious. Not very nice of Luann (considering neither of them would honestly call cleaning her room a “fun time”) but very funny.Here’s hoping you don’t take it lying down though, Brad: once you get in there, start throwing everything into the trash and see how long she still wants your help.

Hopefully the " last dirty bedroom" will stay clean a lot longer than that.

Interesting to see how the brother-sister relationship has evolved between these two. In a way, Luann is getting back at Brad for all the name-calling she endured through her early years. But there is a lot more genuine affection to be seen now, too. Today’s “Luann Againn” is a perfect example of their past warfare.

This week was funny as long as Toni was making sexual jokes. But these last two days have kind of fizzled.

Brad gets sexual only with Toni’s helpful encouragement.

And Luann’s convent material.

Brad’s expression in the second frame is funny – He found himself not being as generous as he thought!

Is $200 considered normal these days?

I think they will need Hazmat suits.

A very fun and humorous turn of events in today’s comic!

I would agree with several here that the “150 Minutes of Fun Time Together” would by definition, eliminate the room cleaning. Luann may enjoy it by not having to do much work, but Brad would find it annoying and so they would not be having fun time together.

I do hope the gift ends up being used as Brad intended… to go see the new “Star Wars” movie. And, it could be nice for Greg to show this as well. I hope he has decided to do so.

From my perspective… while I like the “Star Wars” films, I am a little gun-shy about going to a 2.5 hour “Star Wars” at the moment. It seems like a bit TOO much of the noise and battles, and ect. for me. I have always been more of a Star Trek fan, I guess, and would be more inclined for 2.5 hours of Star Trek… perhaps in the next ST film it will be longer.

My wife and kids all went together to go see “The Greatest Showman” the other day….. it was, IMO, utterly amazing and wonderful. I was expecting it to be interesting and enjoyable… but it surpassed my every expectation!

The film is really a musical. And, it has a stylistic feel that reminded me a lot of “La-La Land” even though the story is drastically different and the directors are also different.

That’s why he’s the last Jedi. He had to clean a room and said, “No more can I do this. No more power do I have to clean this room.”

Gratuitous comment: I prefer the Star Trek universe to that of Star Wars. In the former, money is long gone, and there is universal health care. In the latter, the two party system has devolved into an endless battle between good and evil.

Sunday: what New Year’s Eve joke?

I don’t mean to be too critical, but given that the rest of the family is giving a gift that the receiver might appreciate, spending 150 watching the new Star Wars is time Brad will appreciate, but will Luann? Is Luann the target of the gift, or Brad. I mean I am a HUGE Star Wars fan, and of course spending time watching that, rather than cleaning Luann’s landfill of a room would be WAYYY more fun, maybe for her as well. But Brad deviously has made the fun time, fun time on his terms. On the other hand though spending time together with his sister is a good thing as well. Brad being with Toni, and maybe with TJ has made you smarter.

Talk about a Herculean task! Clean up those Augean (I mean, Luann), stables there, Brad!! ;)

The Last Jedi…..I think that I’ve only seen two Star Wars pictures: the very first one and the one that introduced Yoda.

And we come to the end of another year….did anything significant happen? Tiff gained a few pounds and characters continued a parade through Greg’s revolving door.
