I thought the baby’s name was Lila (pronounced “Lee-la,” I should know. Night-Gaunt49 gave me grief about it the other day.). Was this simply a typo?

It’s a Spanish name, and Spanish pronunciation is different from English. In fact, only English pronounces the vowels as ‘ay- ee-eye- oh -yoo’Spanish, and most European languages, use the original Latin sounds ‘ah- ay- ee- oh- oo.’
Here’s a couple for you- and these are English:Chomondelay- pronunced “Chumley.”Featherstoneshaw- pronounced “Fanshaw.”
Maria is smart to stay away from those stinky smelly things. Big sisters are for getting into trouble…. not for staying clean.
