Most students don’t know the fear they can inflict upon their teachers. A teacher friend of mine started a Facebook thread on teachers’ nightmares. A common one is having to teach a class with every problem student they ever had- all together. Yep, all those full of themselves little yeggs who thought they were Pink Floyd and didn’t need no education weren’t as unique as they fantasized.
Our high school teachs usually got stuck teaching all 5 grades.(8-12) Sometimes, you could end up with the same teach for the same subject, every year!. .with one teach – once we seniors (11 & 12) discovered his weekend passion – ice hockey – we started turning up at all his home games. I often saw teachers of mine out in the real world. My fifth grade teacher’s house was near the school, and was a popular trick or treat stop.
