It does make remembering names a lot easier.
In high school, my daughter was asked by some of her classmates, “What do you call your mother’s husband?”
She replied, “Dad.”
They were amazed to learn that her parents were still married to each other…
When I was a kid, there were three families in the neighborhood with moms named Barbara’s (including my Mom). I was convinced that all moms were named Barbara.
